It\u2019s customary to send images of your children to friends and family so they can enjoy them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"842\" height=\"765\" src=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-9.png 842w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-9-300x273.png 300w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-9-768x698.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the well-known social media site TikTok, she uploads videos of herself and her son Raedyn. She also receives dozens, if not hundreds, of comments requesting that she cease uploading images or videos of her baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Natasha has a message for those who dislike her., \u201cI will not stop\u2026 just because he looks different doesn\u2019t mean that he is any less \u2013 he is perfect,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She cannot count the amount of messages or comments she gets which read \u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with your child? Why does your child look like that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"843\" height=\"795\" src=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-10.png 843w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-10-300x283.png 300w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-10-768x724.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 843px) 100vw, 843px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Raedyn, a young child, was born with Pfeiffer syndrome, which results in deformities of the limbs, face, and skull. Natasha, however, believes that her son is flawless, so whenever she gets the chance, she puts videos of him online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, she notes that most of the comments she receives are hurtful, typically saying things like, \u201cWhat quality of life will he have?\u201d someone rudely asked on TikTok, while another person added: \u201cWhy would you make him live like that? Such a miserable life that you\u2019re permitting him to live\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As if internet trolls weren\u2019t cruel enough, Natasha also receives remarks from individuals in real life. She claims that when she is out in public, others approach her and ask her insensitive things like, \u201cPeople just come up to me and rudely say: \u2018what\u2019s wrong with your child? Or why does your child look like that?\u2019 \u2026that\u2019s not how you talk to a human being.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"838\" height=\"832\" src=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-11.png 838w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-11-300x298.png 300w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-11-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-11-768x763.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of the incessant questions she will inevitably receive, she even finds it difficult to be in public. \u201cIt\u2019s exhausting to explain my son\u2019s health problems over and over\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of her son\u2019s appearance, she finds it difficult to understand the level of interest in him. She says,\u201cHe lives a life like every other child\u2026 does he look different? Absolutely \u2013 but that doesn\u2019t make him any less.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding, \u201cHe deserves life, he deserves acceptance \u2013 I will fight until my dying day for that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Especially when she is going about her day and is suddenly approached by someone who is \u201cinterested\u201d and has questions, she does not like the care people have for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"841\" height=\"619\" src=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-12.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-12.png 841w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-12-300x221.png 300w, https:\/\/makamuki.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image-12-768x565.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 841px) 100vw, 841px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat people need to understand is that I am just a mum and my son is just a baby\u2026 our life doesn\u2019t revolve around his diagnosis,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Especially when she is going about her day and is suddenly approached by someone who is \u201cinterested\u201d and has questions, she does not like the care people have for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are just a normal family. I pray for the world to accept disabled people one day and not judge off of their appearance and the things they cannot do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It truly is heartbreaking to observe that folks are still quick to criticise those who are in any manner dissimilar to them in this day and age.
