Most of its restaurants are located in populated areas. Well, nearly all of them.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, McDonald\u2019s sparked controversy after someone noticed they are opening a restaurant at a remote place with no electricity at 8075 Avenue Marcel-Villeneuve in Saint-Fran\u00e7ois, Laval, Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficially open for business. Our staff awaits you at our new restaurant at 8075 Marcel-Villeneuve, Laval,\u201d the restaurant wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>McDonalds\u2019 J\u00e9remy L\u00e9vy shared the excitement over the new location, saying: \u201cI am delighted to be involved with the community of Saint-Fran\u00e7ois on the occasion of this opening.
