Part two of Bridgerton season three has finally come out in its entirety and we’ve been able to watch the adorable relationship between Penelope and Colin blossom. However, sometimes it felt like compared to the other seasons we didn’t get as much one-on-one time with them as some of the other Bridgerton couples. This could be attributed to the fact that some of the scenes from this season between them were apparently actually cut from the final version, something fans aren’t happy about.
One Redditor has actually gone as far as to work out how many minutes in all their seasons each of the main couples had. As well as what percentage of screen time they had directly with each other during their own season. So, how many minutes of interaction did Colin and Penelope have together in season three of Bridgerton, and how does it compare to the other Bridgerton siblings?
According to the graph, Simon and Daphne had the most screen time together with 113 minutes and 29 seconds directly interacting with each other. In comparison, Anthony and Kate had just 99 minutes and 13 seconds on screen together which also takes their time in season three into account. In their own season, they only had 14.4 per cent of the total show directly interacting with each other.And this lack of time between the couple has left some fans feeling very unsatisfied with this season, to the point where they’ve started a petition. The petition demands that Netflix and Shondaland restore the deleted Bridgerton part two scenes into the original episodes, or by releasing them separately. Despite only being started three days ago the petition has already gained over 60,000 signatures. Fans feel as though the final edit of the show doesn’t do the relationship between Colin and Penelope justice and the cut scenes provide vital moments between the couple.
